NES Rentals completes 4-year, $500 million fleet modernization

NES Rentals has completed a four-year, $500 million fleet modernization initiative, including the addition of 16,000 pieces of new aerial rental equipment. The new equipment includes 5,000 scissor lifts, 3,000 boom lifts, 1,500 RT telescopic forks and 800 forklifts. In addition to acquiring new equipment over the last four years, NES also implemented a maintenance and inspection program that requires all rental equipment to meet applicable OEM standards. The fleet modernization initiative helped the company to grow their fleet to over 30,000 units with an estimated replacement value of $1 billion.
Andrew Studdert, chairman and CEO, NES Rentals, says the fleet upgrade ensures the safety of their equipment.
