Teflon-lined spider assembly resists pounding out

M-B-W’s walk-behind power trowels are now equipped with rugged safety rings to further protect operators’ hands and feet. These rings are in addition to the units’ standard ring guards, which add to safe operation while providing concentricity for maximum productivity and consistently even finishes. These trowels come standard with robust, over-built gear boxes with ground journal bearings and one-piece worm shaft. A heavy-duty hub and flange are also standard. All models feature a handle that is 6 inches longer than the average found in the industry for increased operator leverage and a strong, spider assembly with Teflon-lined steel arm bore inserts that will not pound out.

The company’s Blitzscreed concrete screed features a lightweight, all-bolted design for quick assembly and true alignment. An exclusive quick-coupling system makes section assembly fast and easy, while the cast aluminum A-frame design provides maximum structural strength. A double-jointed turnbuckle allows surfaces to be finished flat or crowned (either parabolic, rooftop or inverted).
