United Rentals opens trench safety branch

United Rentals announced May 11 it has opened its first trench safety branch in Canada. Located in Abbotsford, British Columbia, the facility will provide customers in the Vancouver area with underground construction equipment rentals, sales, service and a line of contractor supplies. The location will rent the latest technologies in steel trench shields, aluminum trench shores, steel crossing plates and custom slide rail systems, as well as confined space ventilators and detectors.
