Ingersoll-Rand launches used equipment program

Ingersoll-Rand has begun selling used equipment through the Bobcat and Ingersoll-Rand dealer network, the company announced March 10. Ingersoll-Rand Remarketing inventory includes two used equipment classifications for units that are more than one year old: Quality Reborn (reconditioned equipment) and Job Ready (refurbished equipment). The Quality Reborn classification is for equipment Ingersoll-Rand technicians have reconditioned. It meets all current safety requirements, has the latest upgrades installed and is repainted and redecaled. Pavers and large double-drum compactors are currently offered through the program. The Job Ready classification is for equipment that is refurbished through authorized Bobcat and Ingersoll-Rand dealers. An inspection ensures all parts are in 50 percent condition or better, and all maintenance and factory updates are performed. The program includes a 30-day, factory-backed warranty. The Ingersoll-Rand Remarketing website, www.irusedequipment.com, includes reports consisting of machine specs, history and condition.
