Summer is here, and if you’re looking for a new way to keep your kids entertained, BuildWitt has launched a new YouTube channel just for little construction enthusiasts.

BuildWitt Kids gives children a behind-the-scenes look at real construction, mining and quarrying sites, with a goal of inspiring the next generation of trade workers.

The videos show everything from demolition excavators to massive haul trucks in action — with no hosts or commentary, just high-quality operational footage and gentle background music.

In launching the channel, Buildwitt founder Aaron Witt said: “I've always argued that our existing YouTube videos are for kids, as I've received hundreds of photos from parents with their little kids watching, and they're the genre I watched while growing up.

“That said, there's another genre: big machines working without anyone like me blabbering on about them, and that's what we're now delivering."

More videos, stemming from the company's library of jobsite footage, will be released soon.
