Hobart Brothers has announced the expansion of its manufacturing operations into a new 65,000-square-foot facility located in Troy, Ohio. The facility will be used to increase production capacity for the company’s welding consumables. Hobart Brothers anticipates an additional 40 people will be added to its workforce once the new plant is at capacity. Construction on the new building is scheduled to begin the week of September 2, 2008 and will be completed by Spring 2009.
