SCA Performance in Trussville, Ala. launched its 2016 Black Widow package for the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
The off-road, high-performance Black Widow package, which is available through Chevy and GMC dealers, includes a 6-inch suspension lift system, red cabin lighting, embossed seats, 35-inch BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires, SCA engine management calibrations and stainless steel exhaust.
Pocket style fender flares and 20-inch wheels with milled spokes bearing the Black Widow logo are other package features. Opening a truck door will activate puddle lights that project the Black Widow logo on the ground, according to madeinalabama.com.
SCA Performance, formerly known as Southern Comfort Automotive, got its start in van customization. A thriving pickup market prompted the company to change its name and to focus more on aftermarket truck packages. The company says it produces about 100 Black Widow trucks each month.
Drew Kerley, SCA’s brand manager, said the 2016 Black Widow package for the Ford F-150 will be unveiled this week at the NADA Convention in Las Vegas. Look for SCA at booth 2967C in Central Hall.
