Xantrex expands successful line-up with powerful new 60-amp model

Xantrex Technology Inc., a subsidiary of Schneider Electric, has recently expanded its highly successful TRUECHARGE™2 Battery Charger Series with the worldwide release of its new 60-amp charger.

This ultra-compact, high performance charger series now includes 20, 40 and 60-amp models, each designed for maximum versatility and performance.

Offering the highest power density in its class with an aggressive price tag, the new 60-amp charger delivers a solid mix of performance and safety features, coupled with proven power and affordability.

Thanks to its compact size, drip-proof design and easily accessible AC and DC wiring compartments, it can be mounted virtually anywhere.

Just like its smaller counterparts, the 60-amp model meets global safety and regulatory standards and features low electrical interference, optimal power factor corrected, multistage charging and reverse-polarity battery protection.

In addition, the temperature-compensated 60-amp charger operates in a wide range of seasonal conditions, from -20°C to +65°C*.  The TRUECHARGE™2 Battery Charger Series can be used internationally thanks to its auto-ranging AC input voltage (90 – 265 Vac, 47-63 Hz) capability.

“The addition of our new 60-amp charger bolsters our offering in the popular TRUECHARGE™2 product category for both OEM and aftermarket applications,” says Xantrex Director of Sales and Customer Service David Norman. “We believe this new full-featured product is truly best in class and is a direct reflection of our corporate commitment to the commercial, utility and electric vehicle markets.”
