Logbook: In perspective

Logbook: 9,650 miles

12/5/11

It’s been a couple weeks since I drove the truck.

I spend a lot of time in a GMC Sierra 1500, so stepping up (literally) into the Super Crew is always a big change in driver perspective.

Just spent $10 at the local spray-n-wash. Takes a wad of quarters to wash this baby!

I must say the Ford is fun to drive and I’d love to have it as my personal work truck.

Peel off the ProPickup vinyl wrap and you have a contractor’s dream ride. It’s roomy. It’s comfortable. It’s strong. It’s really well equipped.

The F-250 Super Duty is smooth riding, has great turning radius, and handles more like a sport pickup than a work pickup. And I’d not be afraid to take in off-pavement or off-road to get to a job site or into some hunting site on the back 40.

(We are having Truck Supply & Outfitters install an ARB Air Locker in the front diff next week.)

I’ll miss drivng it around after it’s given away this coming April.

Whomever you are out there that will get the title, you’re one lucky contractor! 🙂 – Bruce Smith / Editor
