Toyo Tires® offers their popular Open Country M/T® (mud terrain) tire in an LT285/70R18 size for modern, heavy duty pickups including the Ford Super Duty and the 2010 Chevrolet Silverado HD.
Designed to fit on OE size wheels, this “plus zero” fitment features a 10-ply; “E” load rating while delivering a rugged, off-road appearance.
The Open Country M/T features an “Attack” tread pattern with hook-shaped tread blocks to grip loose surfaces.
A silhouette of the tread is continued onto the sidewall to maintain traction even when the trail becomes deep and treacherous.
CASPAN™ (Computer-Aided Simulator for Pattern Noise) reduces tread noise, while STACS™ (Structural Analysis Computer Software) simulates tire response to a variety of road surfaces while optimizing acceleration, braking and cornering.
An LT275/70R18 size is also available, allowing for more fitment options on popular trucks.
