Mack Trucks has named Kara Holladay, Chris Shea and Wayne Thorne of Mountain West Truck Center, Salt Lake City, Utah, champion service technicians in the first Mack North American VISTA competition. VISTA rewards Mack dealer service personnel who demonstrate excellence in technical skill and proficiency. The seven-month event, which challenged contestants’ in-depth and hands-on knowledge of Mack’s products and service procedures, rounded out with three top-scoring teams. These teams, which were regional winners, qualified for the championship fourth round held at the North American Institute in Greensboro, North Carolina. Other teams in the championship rounds were from Mack Ste-Foy, Quebec City of Quebec, Canada; and Nextran Truck Center Orlando from Orlando, Florida.
