Paccar, manufacturer of Kenworth, Peterbilt and European-based DAF trucks has named Tom Plimpton as vice chairman and Jim Cardillo as president, effective in September. Plimpton has been president of Paccar for the last 5 years of his 31-year stint with Paccar. Cardillo joined the company in 1990 and has held senior managing roles within DAF, Peterbilt and the company’s technical centers. Company chairman Mike Tembreull will be retiring in January after 38 years of service with Paccar.
