Topcon Positioning Systems is now offering the FC-120, an affordable and compact field controller that is available with TopSURV, Pocket Layout or Pocket 3D – the company’s survey, layout and 3D site management software packages.
The system uses Windows CE.NET 5.0 and provides an operating system that is already in common use within the surveying and construction industries. A 520 MHz processor gives the FC-120 a balance of performance and power consumption. The FC-120 features built-in Bluetooth wireless connectivity, Compact Flash (CF) and Secure Digital (SD) slots for memory expansion, removable lithium-ion batteries, a color touch screen display, and is available with 64, 128, OR 256 MB SDRAM memory.
