Manitowoc will open a new facility in Gawcott (Buckingham), United Kingdom, to handle sales and services for Grove mobile cranes, Manitowoc crawler cranes and Potain tower cranes.
The new premises will be operational by the fourth quarter of 2008 and will give the company better access to their expanding customer base across the U.K. and Ireland. Manitowoc presently operates in the U.K. from their facilities in Uxbrige, Middlesex and Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. These facilities will cease operation in September when the new facility in Gawcott opens.
