More than 200 people attended the inauguration ceremony of a new Grove mobile crane production plant that Manitowoc Crane Group opened in Northwest Italy. The new factory was built as an extension to the existing Potain self-erecting crane facility at Niella Tanaro.
Manitowoc Crane Group will build rough-terrain mobile cranes during the first year of the plant’s operation and will also assemble some smaller GMK all-terrain cranes. Among those attending the event were major Italian and international crane dealers, as well as Italian crane rental companies and construction contractors.
