Volvo acquires Echo Industries

Volvo Construction Equipment announced June 30 it has acquired the engine remanufacturing assets of Echo Industries, of Charlotte, N.C. Echo is the primary supplier of remanufactured engines to Volvo CE in North America. The company says its remanufactured engines are updated with the latest technical improvements and have the same warranties as new engines. The current staff of 31 people will continue to carry out operations at the engine remanufacturing facility.
