ATI names management team

Attachment Technologies has appointed a new management team after being purchased by Norwest Equity Partners in October. Bill Van Sant, who is an operating officer at NEP, is ATI’s chairman and chief executive. The company’s previous chairman and chief executive, Robert Hartsock, has retired but will remain as a consultant on a limited basis. Marty Sullivan has been promoted to vice president, general manager for the Bradco, McMillen and The Major brands produced in Delhi, Iowa. He previously served as vice president of sales and marketing at ATI. Wendell Moss, previously director of major account sales, is now vice president of marketing and OEM/national sales for Bradco, McMillen and The Major brands. Ron Timmer has been promoted to vice president of dealer and distributor sales for Bradco, McMillen and The Major brands. He previously worked as a territory manager. Gary Wilt and Terry Wilt are vice presidents and co-general managers of the company’s bucket manufacturing operations in Ooltewah, Tenn., and Wausau, Wis., with responsibility for the Badger and C&P brands.

In the field of corporate responsibilities, Martin Kopinski is ATI’s vice president of global sourcing. He will also continue in his role as general manager at Pengo in Laurens, Iowa. J. John Gelp is vice president, chief financial officer and secretary. He worked most recently as executive vice president, chief financial officer and secretary at Zomax. Gelp replaces Steve Hoegar, who has accepted the new position of vice president, administration and chief information officer. Connie Nichols is vice president of human resources. He has held a similar position at Nortrax.
