The hybrid Silverado returns: Will power boost lift Chevy’s second try at an electrified pickup?
Though the pickup truck has never been more popular than it is today, the problem of fuel economy remains. And while competitors Ram and Ford have respectively addressed this issue through a fuel-sipping diesel and the combo of a lightweight aluminum body and a V6 with V8-like power, Chevrolet recently announced that it’s giving a […]

Chevrolet intros 2016 Silverado Realtree Edition: a Z71 model with camo racing stripes

Chevy unveils 2016 Special Ops Silverado, a pickup whose paint scheme gives it a bit of combat cred (PHOTOS)
No. 2 Story in 2015 « No. 3 No. 1 »  Perhaps of all the pickup OEMs at SEMA this year, Chevrolet had the strongest showing. And for both military veterans and military […]

Chevy let Kid Rock design a Silverado 3500 dually… and it’s actually kind of cool? (PHOTOS)
It’s doubtful many construction contractors would want to tie their reputation and brand to a formerly-rappin’ redneck rockstar, but that didn’t deter Chevrolet from commissioning Kid Rock to help design a custom truck. As it turns out, the Kid, or Rock, or whatever he’s called, did a pretty good job. It’s one of the better-looking […]

No. 3 Story in 2015 « No. 4 No. 2 »  Thanks to some spy shots snapped while the truck was in testing back in April, we knew design changes were coming to the next-generation Silverado. And based on what we could see under the prototype truck’s masking, it appeared GM’s top selling half-ton […]
