Volvo Group donates $100,000 to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts
The Volvo Group says it will contribute $100,000 in support of Hurricane Sandy disaster relief efforts by the American Red Cross, the City of New York, and the City of Allentown, Pa. The Volvo Group is donating $50,000 to the American Red Cross, $25,000 to the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and $25,000 to the City of Allentown, Pa.

New Holland Super Boom Road Show events raise $29,000 for Red Cross
In celebration of the launch of the new 200 Series skid steer loaders and compact track loaders, New Holland Construction sponsored a year-long series of Super Boom Road Show events across North America in 2011. These events, held at more than 30 New Holland dealerships, also provided fundraising and volunteer opportunities with local chapters of the American Red Cross and the Canadian Red Cross. As part of the world’s largest humanitarian organization, the Red Cross works to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found.

Nissan Americas donates $115,000 to American Red Cross for relief efforts in the South
In response to the catastrophic storms and tornadoes that recently hit six Southern states, Nissan Americas is making an immediate $115,000 cash donation to the American Red Cross. The funds will be used to assist the American Red Cross to provide food, clothing and shelter to victims of the disaster.
