Parsons Corporation has named Patrick Cassity its new group executive vice present of Parsons Infrastructure, a business unity that offers full-service engineering and management services for aviation, rail and transit, transportation systems and bridge and tunnel markets.
Cassity will lead Parsons Infrastructure’s global operations and support business development and strategy.
“We are pleased that Pat has accepted this appointment,” says Don Graul, Parsons group president. “He has held various transportation-related leadership roles during his tenure with Parsons, and we know he will continue to help guide the business unit’s success.”
Cassity has been with Parsons for 13 years and most recently served as the senior vice president and road highway division manager for the company. He has more than 23 years of “progressive experience in general and project management positions in the transportation engineering and construction industry.”
He most recently served as the senior vice president and road highway division manager for the company. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Road & Highway Division Manager. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a master’s degree in structural engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
