Hollidaysburg, Pa.-based McLanahan Corp. is celebreating its 175th anniversary.

To commemorate the 175-year-landmark, McLanahan will be holding an Open House on Sunday, Aug. 29 at the Hollidaysburg Facility.
McLanahan says the Open House is a celebration to thank the employees, the local community, customers, and vendors. Tours will be given inside the office and shop areas, and a tent will be setup with refreshments and memorabilia from the past 175 years.
In 1835, McLanahan Corp. was founded by James Craig McLanahan in Hollidaysburg, Pa., and the company began as a modest foundry.
Now, McLanahan enjoys the distinction of being one of the oldest family-owned business’ in the country and a world leader in the manufacturing of processing equipment and systems for mineral and aggregate industries all over the world.
Operations for the company fall within six primary divisions. The base of operations remains in Hollidaysburg, Pa., and there are additional locations in Gallatin, Tennessee; Lakeland, Florida; and Newcastle, Australia.
The company says it “has minimized customers’ problems and maximized production through years of experience, expertise, and dedication to designing effective process systems.
