The Mississippi Department of Transportation has received the Judge’s Choice Award for its Centennial Campaign celebrating 100 years of service to the people of Mississippi.

The award was presented during the Public Relations Association of Mississippi (PRAM) Annual Conference.

The agency also won a PRism Award for the campaign and honors for individual entries, including Awards of Excellence for the logo design and video series “MDOT 100 Moments” and a Certificate of Merit for the timeline brochure. In the digital category, MDOT received an Award of Excellence for its STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education website, GoMDOT.com/stemeducation.

PRAM has a membership of over 600 public relations professionals in Mississippi from advertising and public relations agencies, corporations, nonprofit organizations, government, education, industries and other organizations.

“The story told throughout MDOT’s centennial year helped educate the public about the organization’s humble beginnings and its continued growth paving the way for a robust transportation system,” said MDOT Executive Director Melinda McGrath.
