Michelin says its next-generation tire for wheel loaders, motor graders and articulated dump trucks delivers 20% greater wear life compared to the previous model.

The recently launched Michelin XHA3 gets a new tread design with increased rubber volume to reduce maintenance costs by 16% compared to the previous XHA2, the company says.

Michelin also integrated a new visual pressure control into the sidewalls that shows inflation status without requiring “electronic devices, sensors or external systems,” the company says. “A simple visual inspection allows operators to quickly identify whether tire pressure may require adjustment.”

The tire is designed to ride on everything from mud to asphalt, according to Michelin.

It is available in the U.S. in size 29.5 R25.
