Doosan Infracore received the Best of the Best Award at the 2009 Reddot Design Award Show for its futuristic concept excavator, CX.
Doosan’s winning excavator is designed to function at high levels in various working conditions while remaining environmentally friendly and energy efficient. Development of the excavator is targeted to finish by 2018.
More than 2,733 designs from 61 countries entered and 206 were honored at the Reddot Design Award. Out of the awarded designs, Doosan was one of 15 to receive the Best of the Best Award. Of the 15 winners, one will be presented with the Luminary Award on November 24, 2009, in Singapore.
