United Rentals has elected Jenne Brittel, Ph.D., as chairman of the company’s board of directors. Britell has served as director for the United Rentals board since 2006, and is chairman and CEO of Structured Ventures, product strategy and financial service advisors to U.S. and foreign companies.
Dr. Britell is also a director for three other NYSE-listed companies: Crown Holdings, Quest Diagnostics and West Pharmaceutical Services. Additionally, she is a sustaining trustee of the Fox Chase Cancer Center and a director of the United States-Russia foundation for economic advancement and the rule of law.
