Ahluwalia to retire from Bridgestone Firestone

Singh Ahluwalia, 32-year veteran of Bridgestone group and president of truck and bus sales, has announced his retirement effective March 1, 2009. Ahluwalia will also be retiring from his position as a member on the Bridgestone Firestone North America Tire board of directors. Kurt Danielson, vice president of marketing, will assume Ahluwalia’s duties and move into the position of vice president of sales and marketing of Bridgestone Bandag Tire Solutions effective November 1, 2008.
