James Ronald Clawson of Clarksburg, Pennslyvania, is accused of stealing $2,500 of rebar from Golden Triangle Construction Company. Golden Triangle was doing road work near Murrysville, Pennslyvania, on Route 22. Delmont police became suspicious of the black Dodge pickup Clawson was driving when it appeared to be loaded with new, green recoated rebar. When the Delmont Police attempted to stop Clawson he continued before eventually surrendering. An unidentified female passenger of Clawson informed police that Clawson pulled into a Golden Triangle construction site and loaded the rebar into the vehicle. Clawson is charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition, receiving stolen property, fleeing or attempting to elude police and criminal trespass.
