Dean Phillips, manager of welding engineering, Hobart Brothers, has been named Alumnus of the Year by the Materials Joining Engineering department at LeTourneau University. Phillips, who has worked for Hobart Brothers since 1989, was recognized for his ongoing financial contributions and support of the department’s programs. He is a 1971 graduate of the university’s Longview, Texas, campus.
