Extec‘s compact X38 SBS crusher uses a Telsmith 38SBS cone unit for crushing speeds of up to 780 rpm. A Cat C-9 diesel engine powers the X38, offering 350 horsepower for tough quarry applications. The crusher’s compact size enables operation in constrained environments, while rugged tracks and an optional transport bogie provide full mobility. Like its larger brother – the X44 – the X38 has an optional re-circulation system to ensure consistently sized end products. Combining this system with a metal detector in the feed hopper maximizes crushing efficiency and eliminates the need for further crushing stages.
