With almost no tailswing overhanging beyond the width of its tracks, Komatsu’s new PC138USLC-2 excavator provides the benefits of big machine performance in a package suited for close-quarters work. The PC138USLC-2 is the third near-zero tailswing in the company’s stable and comes with an 86 horsepower, four-cylinder engine. The machine weighs 30,865 pounds and offers 20,940 pounds of bucket digging force and 13,890 pounds of arm force. A large door and seat accommodate operators of any size and the viscous-mounted cab, adjustable armrests and controls and reduced noise levels improve operator comfort and add to productivity.
