Crawler dozers ideal for heavy dozing, ripping, grading

Komatsu America has introduced the D85 series dozer featuring hydraulics, power train, mainframe and operator cab that are engineered by Komatsu. The D85EX-15 and D85PX-15 models come with Komatsu turbocharged, after-cooled diesel engines that provide a maximum output of 264 horsepower. This new engine is EPA Tier 3 certified and has horsepower and torque outputs that meet or exceed those of Tier 2 engines. The D85 series features a new cab design, joystick controls for low effort operation, an electronic power train for smooth operation and strong blade capacity for increased productivity. The EX model also features multi-shank rippers that have long sprocket-center-to-ripper-point distances.
