Kobelco Construction Machinery America reached a milestone this week as its 20,000th excavator, a model SK210LC, was manufactured at its facility in Calhoun, Ga.
“We’re proud of our dedicated, hard-working employees,” said Kobelco plant manager Bob Sandow. “The entire team is committed to designing and building a top-quality, world-class product. And that commitment is evident in every machine that leaves our facility.”
The Kobelco Calhoun facility has been open since 1979 and currently produces excavator models in the 16- to 48-ton classifications.
