Two new additions to Manitou’s MT Series of telehandlers, the MT 6642 and MT 8044, feature welded box-section booms for maximum strength. The MT 6642 lifts material to 42 feet and offers an operating capacity of 6,600 pounds. The 8044 will take 7,000 pounds to the full lift height of 44 feet and 8,000 pounds up to 37 feet. Rear-axle stabilization systems keep the machines steady when the boom is raised more than 60 degrees, when the parking brake is applied or when the work platform system is activated.
