For operating in confined areas, the new JCB Mini CX backhoe loader measures 14 feet 10 inches long and 4 feet 10 inches wide. Despite the compact size, this 3,373-pound machine offers a dig depth of 8 feet 4 inches, 2,884 foot-pounds of bucket breakout force and 3,320 foot-pounds of dipper breakout force. On the loader end it offers a 5-foot-8-inch dump height, 1,488 pounds of operating capacity and 3,607 foot-pounds of breakout force. The Mini CX is controlled with a standard SAE pattern control lever or optional ISO excavator controls. The adjustable operator’s seat swivels from front- to rear-facing positions. A 20-horsepower, three-cylinder Perkins engine and hydrostatic transmission propel the new backhoe around jobsites at 6.2 mph in forward and 3.7 mph in reverse.
