JLG announced Sept. 15 it has formed the Commercial Solutions Group to focus on selling its products to non-construction market segments. The initiative is designed to introduce existing JLG products to a wide variety of industrial and commercial markets, said Craig Paylor, senior vice president – sales, marketing and customer support. Focal product lines for the Commercial Solutions Group include vertical mast aerial work platforms (including upcoming products from the company’s recent acquisition of Delta Manlift SAS), store support vehicles, small electric articulating boom lifts, electric scissor lifts and trailers. In its press release, JLG said a key component of the initiative will be establishing a nationwide dealer network, and the company has already begun searching for suitable dealers.
