Soil compactor reduces O&O costs

With a 125-horsepower Cummins engine and a two-speed hydrostatic transmission the new Sakai America SV505 series vibratory soil compactor travels up to 6.5 mph and develops centrifugal forces up to 50,710 pounds for the smooth-drum model and 55,120 pounds for the padfoot version. Dual amplitude frequencies are 2,200 or 1,650 vibrations per minute. Rear wheel and drum drive plus hydraulically driven articulated steering enhance maneuverability even in difficult underfoot conditions.
