A rack-and-pinion drive system on Vermeer’s D75x100 Navigator directional drill puts 10,000 foot-pounds of rotational torque and 75,000 pounds of pullback into the ground, giving you big machine power in a relatively small, self-contained package. The on-board mud pump churns out 150 gallons per minute for backreaming ease and powering downhole mud motors. The operator’s station was designed for comfort over long periods of time and swivels at the push of a button.
