Bobcat plans to add a 1-percent steel surcharge on all factory shipments beginning April 15. The announcement was made in a March 29 letter to the North American Bobcat dealer network.
Case and Volvo have already announced 2-percent to 3-percent increases in prices due to rising steel costs.
