Xtreme’s three new C-class rough-terrain telehandlers come with additional lifting capacity over predecessors and a new modular cab design for switching to an open or enclosed operator space.

The latest additions – the XR1347-C, XR1547-C and XR1555-C – have lifting capacities ranging from 13,000 to 15,000 pounds and max lift heights of 47 to 55 feet. (The first two numbers in the model name denote capacity, and the last two numbers are lift height.)

Xtreme gave all three models similar chassis, cabs, electrical and hydraulic systems as its other recent models, for improved familiarity for operators and technicians and to reduce parts inventory for fleet managers.

Three cab configurations are available: open, enclosed, or enclosed with heat and air conditioning. An optional kit makes it easy to switch between cab styles, the company says.

The company says it also modernized the cabs and made them more comfortable for the operator. Operators have 360-degree visibility. Intuitive controls enable them to keep one hand on the steering wheel at all times, and a machine-rated boom lift point allows for safe handling of suspended loads.

Other new cab features include a USB port for charging devices, additional air vents, and storage pockets for straps, chains and other items. The cab on the XR1555-C has a toolbox built into the rear.

The telehandlers run on a 120-horsepower Cummins 3.8L Tier 4 Final engine and are available with foam-filled or solid tires. Available attachments include pole grapples, sling mounts, truss booms, buckets, work platforms, and a range of fixed and fork positioning carriages and fork tines.

The XR1347-C and XR1547-C are in production at Xtreme’s Henderson, Nevada manufacturing facility, and production for the XR1555-C will begin next quarter, the company says. The telehandlers have a 10-5-2 warranty.
