After launching new articulating trucks last year, ARDCO has followed up with new dump beds for the off-road multipurpose vehicles.

The beds, made for the ARDCO AMT 400 and AMT 600 trucks, range in payloads of 10 to 20 tons and can be added or removed from the modular truck platforms.

The dump bed for the six-wheel-drive, 250-horsepower AMT 600 has a 40,000-pound payload and a dump capacity of 16 cubic yards. Side boards can be added to increase capacity to 24 cubic yards.

The bed for the 4-wheel-drive, 200-horsepower AMT 400 has a payload of 20,000 pounds and a dump capacity of 8 cubic yards. It can be expanded to 12.5 cubic yards with side boards.

Both beds have a dump angle of 70 degrees at full height, a raise time of 12.5 seconds and lower time of 13.2 seconds.

The AMT 400 and 600 can be bought as a bare chassis. Aside from the dump bed, attachments for the trucks include tanks for hauling water or diesel, a flat bed, a drill for water wells, a pipe trailer and a service and lube station. Custom designs are also available.
