Westcon Equipment, headquartered in Regina, Saskatchewan, is joining JCB’s growing North American dealer network.
Now known as Westcon JCB, the dealership will sell, rent and service JCB equipment from branches in Regina and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Winnipeg, Manitoba, the companies say.
“Westcon is continually looking for new product lines, and we are pleased to now represent JCB construction products in Saskatchewan and Manitoba,” says Brian Brown, president and CEO of Westcon Equipment. “We plan to build the business on the basis of our tried-and-true formula of customer service and customer relationships.”
The new Westcon JCB will carry JCB backhoes, excavators, skid steers, compact track loaders, telescopic handlers, wheel loaders, aerial work platforms and rough terrain forklifts.
Westcon JCB will also sell and service the new Teleskid, the first skid steer with a telescopic boom, and the Hydradig wheeled excavator/tool carrier. Used equipment acquired via trade-ins and rental fleet sales is available, too.
“Since entering the equipment sales and rental market more than a decade ago, Westcon has continued to grow and develop a loyal customer base,” says Christian Baillie, JCB North America’s vice president of construction equipment dealer sales.
“With a reputation for outstanding customer service and integrity, Westcon Equipment is the ideal partner to help JCB grow its marketshare throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba.”
JCB, headquartered in Savannah, Georgia, bills itself as the world’s largest privately-owned manufacturer of construction, agricultural and defense equipment.
