A Closer Look: Deere’s 326 P-Tier Telescopic Compact Wheel Loader

Updated Jun 9, 2025

John Deere’s new 326 P-Tier telescopic compact wheel loader lets operators load, lift and stack materials higher, with over 16 feet of vertical reach and a 4,000-pound lift capacity.

Equipment World got a closeup look at the 326 P-Tier earlier this year at the ARA Show. Take a walkaround tour with Derek Betcher, Deere sales support manager, in the video above.

The 326 P-Tier gets more reach than the 324 P-Tier it is based on, thanks to its Tele Lift telescoping boom. The added reach allows operators to maintain control of the load while working farther from the body of the machine. This helps reduce the risk of hitting trailers, trucks or other objects, especially for less experienced operators.

Deere’s exclusive Articulation Plus steering system on P-Tier compact wheel loaders provides 30 degrees of articulation plus 10 additional degrees of rear-wheel steering for improved maneuverability on tight jobsites.

The cab features more glass and better visibility from the seat than the previous series, including an additional window with a wiper blade on the roof.

The loader’s electro-hydraulic controls can be customized from the 9-inch touchscreen display and offer Auto Return-to-Dig and Auto Lift and Lower functions to reduce cycle times.

Standard LED lights illuminate the immediate work area. An optional deluxe lighting package doubles the number of lights on the front and back of the cab and adds LED lights on the lift arm.
