Arctic Cat Expands 2027 Prowler UTV Line with New 500 Series Models
The midsized Prowler 500 and 500 Limited bring four-wheel drive, towing and dump-box capability starting at $10,799. The 800 Series also gets upgraded.
Arctic Cat has expanded its 2027 UTV lineup with the new midsized Prowler 500 and Prowler 500 Limited, in addition to upgrading existing models.
Starting at $10,799, the capable and easy-handling UTVs are aimed at more price-conscious buyers and newcomers to off-roading.
The Prowler range now spans six vehicles. Joining the new models are the refreshed three-passenger Prowler 800 Limited and Prowler 800 XT and six-passenger Prowler 800 Crew Limited and Prowler 800 Crew XT.
Prowler 500 Series
The new Prowler 500 Series models are built on a midsized chassis and powered by a 443-cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine.
Borrowing features from the full-sized units, the UTVs get four-wheel drive, 25-inch tires, a rear dump box with a 1,000-pound total cargo capacity and 1,500 pounds of towing capacity.
The base Prowler 500 model rides on Maxxis tires mounted on steel wheels, while the Limited receives Duro tires on aluminum wheels, electronic power steering, a factory-installed 3,000-pound winch, a dump box cargo mat and backup lights.
Arctic CatProwler 800 Series
The returning Prowler 800s keep the durable chassis, smooth handling and quiet-running 812-cc fuel-injected 3-cylinder engines from the previous generation.
The updated Prowler 800 XT, Limited, Crew and Crew Limited all feature electronic power steering (EPS) and double A-arm front and rear suspensions that make them easy to drive, the company says. A 4,500-lb Warn Axon winch, plus strong cargo and towing capacities, provide enhanced capability for the jobsite or trail. A dash-mounted switch makes it simple for drivers to switch between 2WD, 4WD and 4WD with Diff Lock.

The Prowler XT offers an open cockpit with quarter doors and a roof. The Prowler Limited features a fully enclosed, sealed cab with factory-installed heat and Arctic Cat’s G8 digital display with on-screen mapping, vehicle diagnostics and more.
New for 2027, the Limited comes standard with a fixed position glass windshield with an integrated windshield wiper and washer.
Arctic Cat calls the open-cockpit XT Crew a “true do-anything side-by-side that also excels as a people mover.” The Crew Limited adds a fully enclosed cab, factory-installed heat and additional premium features.
