Doosan Bobcat has opened its new Global Collaboration Center in downtown Minneapolis to bring together teams from around the world to ramp up innovation for the company.
Doosan Bobcat CEO Scott Park says the center’s location gives the company access to talent to help complement the company’s current innovation teams.
“Minneapolis has long been recognized as a hotbed of technology and engineering talent,” he said. “We’re excited for Doosan Bobcat to become a part of this vibrant community and contribute to its innovative spirit with our growing team of professionals.”
The center’s opening follows Doosan Bobcat’s new global organizational structure and recently appointed global function leaders. The company also plans to open a digital business innovation center in downtown Fargo, North Dakota, in the fall.
“The Global Collaboration Center will further advance the pioneering spirit of Doosan Bobcat by paving the way to new levels of innovation and success,” Park said. “Our future is exciting, and the collaborative nature of the center will move us farther and faster.”
The 10,600-square-foot office space includes open work areas, six meeting and conference rooms with AV packages, a team room, huddle areas, community space and a hospitality area for guests.
The company says it also chose the site because it is close to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and within driving range or a short flight to its North American headquarters in West Fargo, North Dakota, as well as other company facilities in the Midwest.
Doosan Bobcat has manufacturing, parts, research and development, engineering and sales facilities around the world, including in the Czech Republic, France, Belgium, China, Singapore, Australia, India, as well as throughout the United States.
