Elliott Equipment Company has expanded its lineup of digger derricks with a new model, the D86.
Like its siblings, the D115 and D105, the new D86 is designed specifically for transmission and heavy-duty construction projects, the company says.
Mounted to a tandem axle chassis, the D86 features a three-section proportional steel boom with an 86-foot sheave height. The machine also boasts a best-in-class, 20,000 ft-lb, high-torque digger system with auger spin speeds between 35 and 80 rpm.
The D86’s main winch is capable of 12,000 pounds of single line pull with synthetic rope, while the machine is capable of a 50,000-pound maximum lift capacity at a 10-foot radius. Digging radius is 41 feet while digging depth goes up to 16 feet.
Elliott says the D86 is equipped with the company’s high boom pin point geometry for maximum power out of the hole, along with a variable displacement piston pump and a new seated control console.
Available options include:
- Heavy-duty tilting pole claw attachment and pole guide for gripping large poles
- Radio remote control boom and digger operation
- “EZ-CRIB” out and down, high-penetration, two-stage vertical outriggers with full or mid-span operation
