Volvo Construction Equipment has made an extended warranty and a lifetime frame and structure warranty standard on its two P7000B series pavers.

For any tracked P7110B and wheeled P7170B pavers delivered on or after January 1, 2019, Volvo has increased its extended warranty to a 3-years or 5,000 hours. This powertrain warranty covers the engine and propel circuit, including pumps, motors, valves and torque hubs. On the wheeled P7170B, the bogie suspension cylinders are also covered, Volvo says.

Volvo’s Lifetime Frame and Structure Warranty covers the tractor frame for both pavers. The track frame on the P7110B is also covered. This warranty applies to the initial machine owner and is non-transferrable, Volvo says.

“We’re confident in the design and durability of our P7110B and P7170Bseries pavers,” says Bill Laing, product manager, pavers, Volvo Construction Equipment. “With these new warranties, we’re passing this confidence on to our customers. They get added peace of mind to know they’re purchasing durable machines backed by warranties that will help them to get their jobs done and stay on schedule.”

Launched in 2016, the P7110B and P7170B pavers feature a Volvo D8J Tier 4 Final engine, 360-degree operator visibility and multiple screed options.
