Hexagon, parent company of Leica Geosystems, announced the acquisition of the Spatial Systems division of Loyola Enterprises.
The division, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, operated its own GPS reference station network RTK-NetTM. The acquisition gives Leica a larger GPS reference station network in North America.
Spatial Systems will consolidate all infrastructure into the Allen Precision Equipment facility in Duluth, Georgia.
