Doosan Infracore America has acquired Moxy Engineering of Norway in an $81 million transaction which includes Moxy Trucks of America. Doosan expects the acquisition will be finalized in the fourth quarter of 2008.
Until the acquisition is finalized, Doosan representatives say they will continue to plan branding, sales and marketing strategies for the line of Moxy articulated trucks. Company officials feel the acquisition fits Doosan’s strategy of building a comprehensive line of equipment and services.
