Thomas Calhoun has been announced the new president and COO of Yanmar America’s North American Operations succeeding Akihiko Nakaoka. Nakaoka will remain with the company as Industrial Division Manager and Senior Special Advisor. Calhoun will operate from Yanmar’s new corporate facilities in Adairsville, Georgia.
Yanmar is a global manufacturer of diesel-powered equipment and engines built specifically for the industrial, construction, agricultural and marine markets. As president of Yanmar’s North American operating groups, Calhoun will be responsible assuring performance consistent with the parent company’s financial goals and strategic objectives.
