IronPlanet, an online auction house for used trucks and construction equipment, completed the fiscal year by surpassing $600 million in recorded public transactions since its first auction in April of 2000.
The company held 27 online auctions in 2006, which resulted in over $163.5 million in gross sales – a growth of more than 30 percent compared to 2005. Last year’s largest auction occurred on December 14, accumulating $11.4 million for IronPlanet.
